The electronically controlled multi point fuel injection (ECI-MULTI) engine of the car turns the toughest ride conditions to very sporty type on the highways. The 2.0L litre engine is highly torqued, it has a pent roof type of combustion engine, It proides a torque of 175Nm and delivers a top speed of 180km/hr. Transmission in the car is a five speed manual type with necassary gear shift ratio along with key-less synchronizers. It has a sharp turning radius of 4.9mts. Front side of Mitsubishi Cedia is equipped with McPherson Strut Suspension, while the rear side of the car is equipped with multi-link suspension. Both helping the vehicle in providing the optimum stability.

Considering the safety aspect Mitsubishi Cedia is equipped with 'Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution'(RISE) type of body. Front and rear crumble zones protect the passangers from getting accidential jurkes and shocks.
