Chevrolet Beat has got immense response from umpteen critics across the car industry. According to a renowned car magazine, “Chevrolet Beat’s funky looks and ultra-competitive price tag have clearly struck a chord with hatch buyers”, while the other says, “The Beat is a brilliant package. It’s a great combination of style, interior packaging, efficiency and dynamics. It is difficult to find fault with this car because there are no glaring faults; stuff that you could take issue with. Most of all, it represents fantastic value-for-money." GM India’s Vice President P.Balendran also opines that they have been able to sustain the growth primarily due to the encouraging response to Chevrolet Beat.

The special character attached to the styling of Beat has sent shivers down the spine of Japanese and Korean car makers which occupies top positions in Indian car bazaar. It has a built on funky design lines and lures the youth of our country who are constantly looking for a different car. It doesn’t look like cheap four wheeler, looking at which, one can’t complain about a basic feature being missed on the car. The diamond shaped headlamps, the wide grille which is more or less a family feature of Chevrolet cars, round fog lamps with chrome lining, startling alloy wheels, silver roof rails and most importantly door handles near the C-Pillar are the high points of Chevy’s beast car which adds that X-factor to Beat.

Not just the exteriors, but even the interior styling garners oodles of applause. As one steps in this super cool hatch, he/she can feel the calm and cool of the ice-blue illumination around the controls on dashboard. The chic instrument cluster with LED backlit speedometer and tachometer has been built taking inspiration from superbikes. The Chevrolet Beat interiors strike a chord with the young breed and install freshness in passenger’s mood. The glittery piano black panel, high-tech graphic infotainment display on the integrated central console which also adorns HVAC controls, radio and CD player with MP3, USB and Aux-in ports imparts agility in driving experience. One feels he is driving a race car when he’s driving a Beat. Air conditioning with Automatic Climate control, 60:40 split folding rear seats power steering and power windows give other cars a run for their money.
